Meet the Team

Carol started her career in the dental field over 30 years ago, after graduating from Iowa Central Community College. She’s enjoyed working alongside many wonderful people throughout the years. Carol and her husband Scott live on a beautiful acreage outside Spencer. They are welcomed home each night by their two Siberian Huskies. She enjoys boating, camping, traveling, cruising on their motorcycle, and spending time with their children and precious grandchildren in her free time.

Lisa has been a dental hygienist since 1994. She still thoroughly enjoys being a hygienist and interacting with all her patients. When she’s not working, she spends time with her family and rescues Pomeranians. She also enjoys walking, and bicycle rides on the trails, in addition to reading a good book.

Michelle is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene. She enjoys getting to know her patients and providing gentle and thorough care.
When Michelle is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing piano, and searching for antiques.

As a Registered Dental Assistant, Sandra assists dentists with chair-side procedures. She maintains a clean and sterile work environment, creates impressions for partials, dentures, and crowns, as well as taking X-rays and charting.
Sandra’s family consists of her mom, Kathy, and her sister, Toni Marie. She has two cats named Oliver and Charlie and one dog named Jethro.
Outside the office, Sandra can be found boating, golfing, and cooking.

Karli is a graduate of Iowa Central Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She and her husband Nick, enjoy spending time with their three sons, Kendrick, Kwinton, and Kyson. Karli & Nick are Owners of CrossFit Okoboji & enjoy staying active with biking, boating & anything outdoors.

Elizabeth (Liz) graduated DMACC Dental Assisting Program in the summer of 2021 and works as our Office Manager. Originally from Pella, Iowa, Liz now resides in Spirit Lake with her fiancé and enjoys playing with her dog, boating, and seeing friends & family.

Keri joined the front desk team at Great Lakes Dental Associates in 2023 and currently serves as our Financial Coordinator. Keri handles insurance claims and collections, processes payments and works closely with the team on efficiencies and meeting daily and monthly goals. When not at work, Keri likes attending country music festivals, shopping, and spending time with her husband, Jamie, and their three kids Tatum, Ridge, and Akron.

Martha joined our team of hygienists in 2023. She received her AAS in Dental Hygiene from DMACC in 1998. In her free time, Martha enjoys spending time with her son, Quinn, in addition to biking, traveling, painting, and attending concerts.

Ciera was born and raised in Spirit Lake. After attending school, Ciera returned to the Iowa Great Lakes and joined our team in 2023 as a dental assistant. She and her boyfriend share a home with their two dogs. In her free time, Ciera enjoys boating, walking with the dogs, and spending time with friends and family.

Blake joined Great Lakes Dental Associates in May of 2024. He has a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and a Masters in Adult & Higher Education. Having practiced in South Dakota for 9 years, Blake is excited to be back in Iowa and providing our patients with high-quality care. Outside of work, Blake enjoys fishing, boating, and sports.
